Fast previews that keep up with you
Lettered-sign V-carve, whole toolpath: 1.18 s before, about 0.13 s with the GPU after (Mac with M3 Max, release build, October 2026). Internal before-and-after Makivo measurement. Not a comparison with other software. Not yet measured on a physical iPad.
Limits
Good to know
- Simulation does not guarantee a safe cut. Always check workholding, bit condition, machine setup and safety steps.
- iPad uses Fast quality by default and a lighter animation; the iPad animation is not yet verified on a physical iPad.
- Height-map preview: undercuts are not shown or carved.
